I have been trying my hand with mosaics. This one here is made to be a Trivet. Which is like a big heat resistant coaster that you can put hot pots or pans on and protect your table.

I am in between jobs, so I have time to do commissions if anybody has a different symbol you want done. Just PM me.

Hmm it would be interesting to see what the Imperial/Reoublic symbol would look like. Mind you a Jedi one would be cool too.

Very cool once again! :clap: I really like your choice of colors for these--and the way you're cutting the pieces makes the symbolism unmistakable, too! I love the look of them--almost as though they are an homage to each element, crafted by a more primitive culture in the SW 'verse--this might be from a planet where the Alliance saved the populace from Imperial occupation... Most excellent work (and I'll bet these aren't easy to make, either!)! Best of luck with the auction! :thumbsup: :D

Yeah, they are like Trivets made by an ewok. :)

As for ease, these were very hard to make because of the weather. I use a wet saw, so I can't use it indoors because of the splatter. So I have to use it outside and it is still about 30 degrees outside.

So I have to wear my knit gloves with latex gloves over them to keep my hands from becoming soaked. even then when I got done I felt like I had frostbite.
