I took this photo while visiting Auschwitz, the notorious Nazi concentration camp in Poland.

It shows the sleeping area of the prisoners. I was told each bunk held at least two prisoners. The barracks that were designed to hold 50 people often held over 200 unlucky souls.

I have been there and I have seen it all... It is too difficult to say something about your photos... but I am glad that you did not use the term "Polish camp". There were too many incidents in last couple of years with.... (let's say in light words) misinterpretation. So thank you for that. :)
I loved my visit to Poland the the Polish people. I never considered them responsible for this horrible event. The Polish people were also victims of the Nazis.

Thank you for stopping by and commenting.

It certainly didn't look too comfy in there. I think tonight when I'm lying all snuggled up and warm in my bed, I'll thank God for it.

Oh, it's so sad. I hope they had a way of comforting each other.

Same here. I hope nobody ever ends up in that situation ever again.

Thanks for looking at my photos.
