Oh - that is something "new". Because everybody usually are takeing the photography of the gate with the inscription "Arbeit macht frei" (Work will make you free).

I was taking photos of everything. I still have a couple more to post. I see that you saw I did have a photo of the gate.

This place was very moving. It was not a happy place to visit, but it is something I will always remember.

Auschwitz . . . not a name I'm sure a lot of people can remember. It always brings me back to the startling reality that the Nazis weren't as "cuddly" as Sgt. Schultz on "Hogan's Heroes." Interesting shot, btw.

No, no, not me personally. I am not that old.

I meant during the Nuremberg War Crime Trials. I am sure the Nazi were coming up with a whole lot of excuses for their crimes (although "I was just following orders" was probably the most popular).
